André CONFIADO works for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) as an Associate Environmental Affairs Officer. He works on sustainable, resilient, climate-smart and innovative cities, the assessment of environmental impacts of conflicts, and hazardous waste management.

André previously worked at the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) as an Associate Programme Officer with the Cities Unit. There he focused on resilience, resource-efficiency, and circular economy in cities. His previous work included operational logistics and project management in the fields of post-disaster recovery.

He holds a Master of Public Affairs (with a focus on environmental and human security) from Sciences Po Paris.
