René Zierler

René Zierler, Ph.D. is the Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Switzerland. Before being named Managing Director Switzerland per November 1, 2023, René held leadership roles in both national and international businesses across the company.

Joining Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) in 2006, he quickly became known as a leader who could span a breath of enterprise technology solutions and services that help organizations accelerate business outcomes. Most recently, René was Director Global Sales for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) developing the entire growth strategy for this fast-growing FSI Vertical and setting direction for execution.

 René also headed Global Account Teams and played a key role in the continued development of HP’s Server and Storage business in Switzerland. Before joining HP, René has been with leading Telecommunications Companies and Startups scaling up businesses.

René earned an Ph.D. degree from the New York University and an MBA degree in International Management from the University of Gloucestershire.
