ACTIVATED CARBON IN AIR PURIFICATION

Activated carbon ...

  • separates gaseous pollutants;
  • removes unpleasant odors from the air;
  • has an extremely large, sponge-like inner surface on which pollutants are adsorbed very well.

ACTIVATED CARBON IN WATER TREATMENT

  • A water filter with activated carbon improves the taste and odor of drinking water;
  • Activated carbon filters are effective in removing chemicals such as PFAS or chlorine as well as pharmaceutical and pesticide residues;
  • Activated carbon can also reduce the content of heavy metals such as lead, copper, nickel and toxins in tap water/wastewater.
