With its flexible «blended learning» study model, the Swiss Distance-Learning University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) is the leading e-university in Switzerland.

FFHS is an institutionally accredited university of applied sciences with headquarters in Brig and locations in Zurich, Bern, Basel and St. Gallen. With its «Blended Learning» study model, FFHS has built up many years of expertise in digital education and enables its current 3,100 students to study largely independent of time and location. The range of courses includes nine Bachelor's and four Master's degree programs as well as around 70 continuing education courses in the fields of business and technology, IT, health and e-didactics.

In the areas of sustainability, circular economy and green technologies, FFHS offers the MSc Business Administration in Sustainability and Circular Innovation and other specializations for the «Bachelor in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration». 

In its three research institutes, FFHS conducts application-oriented research in the fields of web science, management & innovation, health and e-learning and holds a UNESCO Chair for personalized and adaptive distance learning. Since 2004, FFHS has been an affiliated school of the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and is integrated into the overall strategy of SUPSI.
