Sustainability is derived from the term "sustain", which means "to maintain". The basic idea of the regenerative economy goes one step further: in an economic system that has to learn to deal with resource scarcity, it is no longer enough to maintain the status quo. The regenerative economy aims to have a positive impact on the environment, society and the economy and to give something back. Companies with regenerative business models create value for multiple stakeholders - including nature, society and employees.
We would like to explore together what this can mean in concrete terms using models such as the circular economy and doughnut economics.
