Ghana is one of the world leaders, with nearly 900’000 MT in cocoa bean production per year, right after the Ivory Coast. Together, both countries account for 60% of the global cocoa harvest. Ghana produces what the industry considers the highest-quality cocoa beans, which are marketed at a premium.
